Whether you're planning to spend Valentine’s Day with your significant other or your close friends, Buffalo has many fun on-theme activities for you to do this year!
One of my personal favorites I came across was the Screening Room Cinema and Cafe showing “The Princess Bride” from 5 to 7 p.m! While it’s not my favorite Valentine’s movie, this activity is perfect no matter who you're celebrating with! Paint the Town is also hosting a paint and sip that is $45 per person from 6 to 8 p.m. and encourages you to bring your Valentine or your Galentine!
Hofbräuhaus is hosting a surf and turf dinner on Feb. 14 and 15 advertising “2 hours of beer, wine and prosecco.” While this is a more expensive activity at $90 per person, you get a full three-course meal and drinks! Just make sure you aren’t bringing a vegetarian to this dinner.
For all of the wine girlies (specifically Maddy Lockwood), Alchemy Wine and Beer is having a Valentine’s Day wine pairing meal at 6 p.m. that includes three courses and three types of wine! If you're looking for a fun night out at the theatre, Shea’s has performances of Forbidden Broadway and The Niceties at 7:30 p.m.
Some more affordable options for dinner include the obvious like Olive Garden, Applebee’s, Chili’s and the Cheesecake Factory, but also local places like the Breezy Burrito Bar and Aquacates! The Galleria Mall also has activities such as escape rooms, blacklight mini golf and a movie theater!
Franco’s pizza, while we as Canisius students eat it frequently, has a super cute heart-shaped pizza, perfect for a night in watching movies or binging TV shows with your roommates or Galentines!
