Little Theatre is proud to present their cast and production staff for their final play of the semester, Agatha Christie’s very own “Murder on the Orient Express.” The book was originally based off of the 1932 Lindbergh kidnapping, later with play and movie adaptations, and tells the story of one determined detective with a keen eye for solving murders.
Synopsis: “Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the famous Orient Express in its tracks as it travels through the mountainous Balkans. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of the year but, by the morning, it is one passenger fewer. An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed a dozen times, his door locked from the inside.
One of the passengers is none other than detective Hercule Poirot. On vacation.
Isolated and with a killer on board, Poirot must identify the murderer—in case he or she decides to strike again,” Goodreads writes.
Performances will be held in the black box theatre April 24 and 25 at 8 p.m. The last two performances will be on Saturday, April 26 with a matinee at 2 p.m. and the last performance at 8 p.m.
