The Muslim Students Association is hosting “Pie Day” today at 5 p.m. outside of the dining hall as a part of their charity week, where students can pie an MSA e-board member or faculty member. They’ll be charging $5 to pie three people, or $1 for two pies.
This year’s “Culture is not a Costume” lecture will be held on Monday, Oct. 28, at 8 p.m. in Horan O’Donnell room 107, hosted by political science professor Dr. Shyam Sriram.
There will be an Election Night Viewing Party from 7 to 9:45 p.m. on Nov. 5 in OM 221. This event is also hosted by Dr. Sriram.
There will be a Women and Gender Studies tour of Spain from May 25 to June 5, 2025. Students will take a “bilingual tour of Madrid, Cuenca and La Coruña to visit organizations and attend workshops focused on women in the Red Cross, forest fires, brigades, women in rural, disability and Romani communities, as well as sport and LGBT+ worlds.” The $200 deposit to attend this trip will be due on Oct. 30, 2024.
The Afro-American Society will be hosting a Halloween Fest today, Oct. 24, from 7 to 10 p.m. in Science Hall Commons.
Phi Sigma Sigma will be holding a Phi 5k on Oct. 27.
